To meet growing demand from bulk clients, Kaguo has coordinated with its carrier partner to increase the Yiwu–Moscow rail service from one to two departures per week. The wider dispatch window makes scheduling much more flexible.

What the upgrade means

Previously, bulk cargo had to follow the weekly rhythm — missing one departure meant waiting another week. With two windows per week, cargo can be scheduled as soon as it is consolidated, and inventory turnover pressure drops noticeably. Clients with steady volumes can also split a large consignment into two consecutive departures, smoothing the peak load of a single shipment.

Speed and cost

The upgrade does not change the 20-25 day rail transit time, and freight rates stay at current levels. Bulk clients are still charged per container, and the delay compensation promise applies to rail shipments as well.

How to book

Rail space is released weekly on a first-come, first-served basis. Monthly-settlement clients are advised to submit booking plans two weeks ahead, key accounts four weeks ahead; ad-hoc clients can call anytime to check the remaining space of the current week. Once confirmed, we arrange collection and container loading accordingly.

What's next

Depending on volume growth, Kaguo plans to further increase frequencies on popular routes in Q4. Clients are welcome to share their needs with their manager as input for future route adjustments.
