Shipping Guide: Seven Steps from Quote to Delivery
2026-05
Many clients are unfamiliar with cross-border logistics on their first shipment and worry about complexity and opacity. This article breaks the Kaguo shipping flow into seven steps so that every shipment is clear and controllable from quote to delivery.
Step 1: Get a quote
Contact your manager with product name, weight, volume, value and destination to receive quotes for the three speed tiers. The quote covers transport, border handling and basic delivery — no hidden charges.
Step 2: Confirm the order
Once the route and transit time are agreed, sign a transport confirmation covering the agreed time, compensation ratio and cost details. Both parties keep a copy.
Step 3: Consolidate and receive
Deliver cargo to any of the five pickup points or book doorstep collection. On receipt, cargo is inspected, weighed and photographed for the record; it is logged into the system and its status becomes "received".
Step 4: Book space
Space is booked together by volume and speed, locking the departure date. Booking details are shared with the client.
Step 5: Dispatch
Cargo departs on the chosen line — by flight, truck or train. A waybill number is provided and every milestone is updated.
Step 6: Border clearance and delivery
Cargo clears customs at the border, is cleared again at destination and then delivered. Any clearance issue is reported immediately with assistance.
Step 7: Signed receipt
After the consignee signs, the client receives the confirmation. If the agreed transit time was exceeded, claim proportional compensation with the transport confirmation.
Full transparency
Across all seven steps a manager follows the shipment; every milestone can be checked by phone or email at any time. Transparent flow, clear responsibility, and every shipment fully documented.
