A Major Cross-border E-commerce Platform
A major cross-border e-commerce platform is one of the leading online sales channels in the Russian market. Its sellers focus on consumer electronics, apparel and home goods, with extremely high requirements for delivery speed and fulfilment stability. Since 2025, Kaguo has been one of the platform's core logistics providers on the China–Russia corridor.
Background
Sellers' supply is concentrated in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Yiwu, with small parcel sizes, high frequency and concentrated dispatch during sales events. Previously sellers arranged their own forwarders — prices were opaque, transit times varied and the platform bore the after-sales pressure. The platform needed one consolidated, stable fulfilment partner for the trunk line.
What we do
Kaguo provides three speed tiers: urgent and express for restocking high-conversion items during sales events, and economy for routine inventory. Sellers deliver to the nearest of our five pickup points; Kaguo consolidates, books space together and sorts by destination. Weekly dispatch summaries support the platform's reconciliation and planning.
Results
Since the cooperation began, sellers ship 300+ tonnes through Kaguo monthly, peaking near 500 tonnes in season; urgent-tier on-time performance stays above 98%. Through consolidated booking and route optimisation, the platform's overall trunk cost fell about 12%. During sales events Kaguo coordinates the stocking rhythm, and the platform's stock-out rate dropped noticeably year on year.
Working mechanism
Both sides hold quarterly capacity meetings to confirm space plans ahead of sales events; Kaguo provides a data interface so order status and transport milestones sync in real time. The platform's supply chain lead calls Kaguo "the most worry-free link in the fulfilment chain".
